Love Triangles

Love can be complicated at times, and relationships too. Sometimes it can be really difficult to figure out who you really love. And at other times, you have to settle because the one you really love isn’t ready to love you back.

Now I’ve got a story for y’all. Hehehe

The years I spent in secondary school were the best part of my life so far. Ma first year in Junior School was so exciting; I got to meet new people. One of those was the girl who later turned out to be my best friend, Cece.

The next two years were just normal. All the drama started in our senior year. I had made completely new and different friends, although Cece and I were still good friends, I guess… But ma new best friends were Tomi and Nelly (we were like SISTERS!!!) then there was Timi (he cute AF! and he raps too!) and then we were four, Timi being the only guy.

At this time, I was crushing on this boy…such a cutie…but dis aint bout me jor!! Dis story is about ma former bestie, Cece, one of ma new besties, Tomi, and Timi (to complete the triangle ;-))

It all started in the first year of senior school (this was where Scott, Timi’s best friend and Nelly’s cousin, joined us). Apparently, Timi was in love with Tomi and he made his intentions known to her but she was not ready for any commitment whatsoever. But he waited….for more than a year…. (sweet sweet love ^_^)

In our second year, they had something going on, but I wouldn’t call that a relationship though. -_-

Finally, in our third and final year in senior secondary school, Tomi agreed to date Timi (she had feelings for him at this time; I think she always did!). They dated for quite a while and it was sooo cool until the feelings started to fade on Tomi’s side. Timi respected her enough to let her be. They finally ended the relationship in the first week of January last year. ;-( This was where Cece came into the picture again.

Cece actually had a crush on Timi and decided to tell Scott, Timi’s best friend. Scott in turn told Timi about the crush and even advised Timi to use Cece to get back at Tomi. But Timi, being the good guy that he is, preferred to grow to like Cece before going into any relationship with her. This now grew from friendship to dating. J Tomi eventually found out about their relationship and got really pissed. She believed that Timi deserved better (which he did) but Timi pleaded with Tomi, as well as Nelly and I (cuz we were kinda like his besties too). Tomi agreed to their relationship, and so did we. (I guess she knew that Timi never stopped loving her... he never did, but he also enjoyed the company of his new girlfriend)

Timi and Cece dated for about six months. After graduation, Cece began to suspect that Timi was dating Tomi behind her and that really pissed her off. That’s when she began this very ridiculous scandal. She insulted Tomi, Nelly and I along with some of our other friends, both in person and on the internet, and, of course, we retaliated and that’s when she finally stopped talking to us. Timi and Tomi tried to convince her that nothing was going on but she never believed any of them. They HAD to split up…the relationship was obviously over.

He was still in love with Tomi, but after he split-up with Cece, he thought it best to just be alone. He made up his mind not to fall in love again until marriage. (Yea right!!)

I guess there’s a lot to learn from this.

Love is never for the weak or impatient person. Love is a strong feeling that requires a lot of nurturing, in other words, patience.

Our actions leave a mark on people, we can never know for how long these marks will stay.
